KTM has unveiled the RC 160 in India, and while it may seem like just another compact sportbike, there's a twist. For American riders accustomed to larger engines, this 160 cc powerhouse might not raise eyebrows, but it's a true supersport in a pint-sized package, not a mere commuter in disguise.
Having experienced KTM's RC range, I can attest to its race-inspired riding position. With low clip-ons, high rear-set pegs, and a tank designed for knee grip, it's a recipe for an exhilarating ride. The fairing, reminiscent of its bigger RC siblings, boasts sharp lines and LED lighting, exuding a track-ready vibe.
Here's the intriguing part: in countries like India and the Philippines, these bikes aren't seen as mere stepping stones. They're track-day warriors, competing in grassroots races, one-make cups, and local club events. The 160cc engine is pushed to its limits, lap after lap. KTM's RC 160 is purpose-built for this very scenario.
